Stopping moments in time for family and friends is one of my favorite things. Don't get me wrong, we're friends with everyone we shoot, and we do everything in our power to build an amazing relationship with our clients before they ever set foot in front of our lens. But the Clark family, well, we go back. WAY back. And they're family. And having that much history and that many stories behind smiling faces... it brings something new to the equation.
I had the absolute blessing of shooting Mark and Linda Clark's vow renewal last year on the beach in Carmel, CA. You can see the blog entry on that amazing day right here: Click here!
And now, Tessa, their youngest daughter will be joining them among the ranks of the married!
How could it have been more perfect? Starting with a dinner date at a favorite restaurant, followed by a flash mob of 35+ dancers all swinging around in the courtyard at Santana Row, and their entire family and tons of friends waiting, all trying to hide their faces so as not to give up the secret! This was all followed by a surprise engagement, and a beautiful (and huge!) diamond ring which appeared out of a small little box, being offered by Nathan, down on one knee, as a token of his love and devotion to Tessa. And of course... of course Tessa said yes and can't wait to celebrate her life with the man of her dreams.
Congratulations you two! And thank you Natalie for inviting me to be a part of this. You're one awesome big sis!
