I'm thankful for family - Bay Area Family Photography and Family Portraiture

It's amazing how time flies.  And once again, the holidays are here.  Not just around the corner.  They are here.  Christmas lights need to go up, decorations need to be hung...

...and a slow down needs to happen.  Not a speeding up of the pace.  A slow down.  A crawl even.  To appreciate the amazing things in our lives.  And when I think of those amazing things, I think of my family.  My wife.  My son.  Our dogs.  And of course our parents, sisters, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, in-laws and everyone else.

Here are a few shots from some recent family shoots.  These guys took a few minutes out of their hectic, child filled lives, to spend as a family.  And I feel honored and blessed to have been allowed to capture these moments.

Plus, you can't beat California weather.  When you can get weather like this in the middle of November, there's just nothing better.
